Deep Trauma

A psychological breakdown phenomenon that occurs when a sentient being experiences stress beyond a certain threshold while within the influence of Chaos energy. Agents who fall into Deep Trauma display various abnormal symptoms based on their most horrific memories. For the agent's safety and treatment, those showing symptoms of Deep Trauma are given top priority for isolation at the Epione Center. This state can persist after an agent has been brought back to the ship. Physical extraction and psychological recovery are separate stages: a recalled agent may remain unfit to return to the field while their trauma is being treated.
