Chaos Zero Project

A project launched to eliminate the Chaos covering planets across the universe. During the project, beings known as "Protos," who possess resistance to Chaos energy, were created, becoming one of the most powerful means for the entire universe to resist Chaos. The Church of the Holy Crusaders, which leads Chaos purification efforts and seeks to reclaim Earth, has also shown great interest in the project. The SS Nightmare carries both a Protos commander and Zero, the analysis system developed during the project. The captain’s exploration records supply the research used to simulate Chaos through the Zero System, connecting field missions with the effort to understand the disaster.
