Oblivion

One of the abnormal symptoms that sentient beings suffer when exposed to Chaos energy. They are very likely to occur during prolonged exposure to Chaos energy or during emergency recall. Agents who fall into a state of Oblivion lose their memories. While they tend to lose memories gained in Chaos, a more severe condition may cause the loss of older memories as well. High command is conducting various studies to prevent the loss of critical information during Chaos infiltration missions. However, only the Protos is known to be resistant to this type of Oblivion thus far.
